Earlier that day

The task of fitting the antennas to the mast then erecting the mast Stuart has had many years of experience but still has to take safety precautions

 

The finished article a 9 element 2mtr yagi and a vertical tri-band antenna the mast also supports the centre of an inverted V G5RV wire antenna for HF. If anyone is interested here is copy of the station log

Fortunately they were successful which allowed us to display information boards and some antique Radio equipment

 

Not quite Edwardian but certainly old radios including a spark transmitter, crystal set and two valve receivers.

And Finally

It seems the Edwardians cycled everywhere hence the expression "On yer Bike!"
