Aldersbrook Edwardian Day, GB2AED

The Aldersbrook Edwardian Day was held in Wanstead Park (JO01an).  BRES was invited to take part and present the past and present of Radio.  This was a one-off event and so this page mainly consists of photographs.

Erected Antennas

The finished antenna setup was a 9 element 2 metre Yagi and a vertical tri-band antenna. The mast also supports the centre of an inverted-V G5RV wire antenna for HF.

The images below show some of the old radios exhibited at the show, including crystal sets, spark transmitters and valve receivers.
